When Your Foe is Fierce Ol’ Lucifer -an original poem

Words are wasted on the ones who want for wisdom,
While friends fight furiously the battles of your war.
When in dormant days your docile ways return and rule your reason,
Forget not your friends who vigorously fight your battles.
For in vain, you speak to spurious and sentimental souls,
Belittling the speech the Word imparted your very own soul.
Suffer silently, for so did the slain One.
Stay your words, for the Word stayed His.
